Rosaceae evolution

This page is still under construction; please re-visit to see the changes.Molecular and morphological data are being collected and analyzed with which to elucidate evolution in the Rosaceae, especially as it relates to the origin of the Maloideae. Currently, the bulk of this work is the Ph.D. thesis research of Rodger Evans. This work also involves collaboration with the lab of Dr C. S. Campbell at the University of Maine, and others.
